Layout Engineer

Title: Layout Engineer (Remote)

Position Overview: You will work on our CAD Drafting system and be responsible for capturing layouts on Mentor software. You will collaborate closely with our design engineers to create innovative circuit board layouts that meet the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform layout design for circuit boards.
• Utilize Mentor graphics software for design tasks.
• Collaborate with design engineers to ensure the successful implementation of circuit board layouts.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and precision of the designs.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a related field OR a certified Electronics/Electrical Engineering Technologist.
• Strong background in layout designing, with a focus on circuit boards.
• Proficiency in using Mentor graphics software.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Knowledge of circuit board technologies, including PCB and CCA.
• Previous experience with similar PCB layout projects.
